Volyn-Cement, a branch of Dyckerhoff Cement Ukraine PJSC, has launched a new type of cement – PC II/A-S-500R.

It should be noted that a new kind of cement was produced on the existing equipment. The new brand has a traditionally high quality level for Volyn-Cement and can be used for: - precast concrete products and structures; - monolithic structures in industrial and private construction, bearing structures of all kinds in construction; - for works requiring rapid removal of formwork, i.e. for a high rhythm of construction; - for works requiring high durability in a short period; - structural elements made of reinforced concrete and pre-stressed concrete; - works in the cold season. PC II/A-S-500R is characterized by a high rate of early strength increase compared to PC II/A-W-500R (Fig. 1).

According to the certificate of conformity, the cement of the PC II/A-S-500R type meets the requirements of CEM II 42,5R. These indicators can be obtained due to the optimal mineralogical composition, high fineness of grinding and low content of mineral impurity. The stable quality of this type of cement is ensured by the grinding in a separator mill, which makes it possible to obtain a product of uniform required granulometry. And this means stable quality. The receipt of the certificate of conformity for cement of PC II/A-S-500R (CEM II/A-S 42,5 R), issued by the independent body – the State Enterprise CEPROCEM Cement Certification Authority – is the evidence that Dyckerhoff Cement Ukraine PJSC takes care of its reputation for producing high quality cement.
