Use of the Dyckerhoff Oil-Well Cements
According to our reliable partner JSC UkrGasVydobuvannya, the largest natural gas producer in our country being currently engaged in drilling, plugging-back and hydrocarbon production, the company plugs back the wells using oil-well cements ПЦТ ІІ-50, which makes it possible to plug back the well with a depth up to 2000 m and ПЦТ І-100 up to 3800 m. It is important to note that on the initiative of JSC UkrGasVydobuvannya, given their own experience in using our oil-well cement ПЦТ І-100, Volyn Cement quality department has developed technical conditions for the use of ПЦТ І-100 at low and normal temperatures in order to optimize the plugging-back process. This document is currently being approved by State Enterprise ‘Cement Certification Center ‘SEPROCEM’.
To produce the cement stone resistant to aggressive environment, the oil-well cements (Class G) have been extensively used in the world. These cements have more stringent requirements for the mineral content, mainly for tricalcium silicate and tricalcium aluminate. Our plant belonging to Dyckerhoff Group and being located in Lengerich, Germany, produces special oil-well cements, including Class G Grade HSR, HT Basic Blend (Class G + 35% BWOC silica flour) and HT Blend (Class G + 40% BWOC silica flour). Our partner JSC UkrGasVydobuvannya is currently applied some of these cements while plugging back gas wells.
