The Volyn Cement laboratory is equipped with modern high-precision and high-performance equipment, which makes it possible to minimize human participation in the control process and, thus, reduce the impact of human factor. In this regard, there is close cooperation with foreign companies that hold leading positions on the world market in their field. 

Quantitative and chemical parameters are analyzed with KERN and OHAUS analytical balances, FLUXANA fusion machine, RETSCH P100 planetary ball mill, HTP 40 HERZOG press, HSM 100P HERZOG disk mill, RADWAG and OHAUS moisture analyzers, LECO SC-744 sulfur and carbon analyzers, ADVANT’X and OPTIM’X X-ray fluorescence spectrometers. Caloric value of solid fuel is estimated with LECO AC-600 calorimeter. Physical and mechanical tests are carried out using TESTING automatic laboratory mixers, RETSCH automatic sieves, TESTING semi-automatic Blaine apparatus, TESTING vibrating platform and MATEST Vicatronic automatic devices, which allow to test the properties of clinker, a semi-finished product, and cement for compliance with European and Ukrainian standards. In 2019, thanks to the program of continuous innovation and improvement of quality control processes, there was comprehensive overhaul of testing premises. As a result, SYMPATEC laser granulometer, a high-precision laboratory machine to determine the cement particle size, and AERIS Malvern Panalytical X-ray diffractometer, a mineral composition analyzer, were added to the high-precision laboratory machines.
