The VI International Conference “Cement Industry. Best practices. Development Perspectives” UkrCemFor2015 took place in the Ukrainian capital on May 26-29, 2015.

The Conference was organized by the Ukrainian Association of Enterprises and Organizations of the Cement Industry "Ukrcement" with the support of the Ministry of Regional Development, Construction and Housing and Communal Services of Ukraine. The forum, which is held by the Ukrcement Association once every two years, was attended by leading experts from the EU, Ukraine and the CIS countries in the field of cement and related industries. In particular, representatives of the Ministry of Regional Development of Ukraine, the Ministry of Economic Development of Ukraine, the Ukrainian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, the Union of Consumers of Ukraine, all cement plants of Ukraine, the specialized research institutes and universities of Ukraine, the EU and the CIS, leading manufacturers of specialized equipment and technological additives of Ukraine, the EU and the CIS and other organizations.

According to the conference agenda, more than 30 exclusive reports on current issues of cement production technology, the fight against falsification of cement, new equipment for the production of cement, modern methods of controlling the quality of incoming raw materials and finished products of the cement industry were heard ... Series of presentations were dedicated to the problems of construction and repair of cement in Ukraine. Several special speeches were dedicated to the problems of the Ukrainian legislation in the fight against the cement falsification, the strategy for reforming the technical regulation system of Ukraine and the transition to European standards. During the conference, broadcasting of speeches was organized through the internal network of the Rus Hotel.

This conference has become a platform for discussing the prospects and practices for the development of cement industry in Ukraine and the world.
