FABU EUROPIAN BUILDERS CUP 2019 is a two-day championship of club European construction companies and teams.

The Dyckerhoff cross-functional team was created in June 2019 with the administration and trade union support. Representatives of two cement plants (Zdolbuniv, Rivne region and Olshanske village, Mykolaiv region) and the central office (Kyiv) are part of this team. The history of football teams of production business units is really long. The plants always held competitions, sports and athletic contests between departments, took part in tournaments at the district, local and regional levels.

On the first game day, our team had two games. Against ETB team, the game was quite exciting, intense, dramatic and even sportingly tough, however, … we lost the match 2:1. The second match against AGROMAT 35+ (future champions) our team lost 1:8, it is worth noting that it was very difficult to play and very interesting against former professional players.

The second game day. The Dyckerhoff match against FABU team is the first long-awaited win 4:3. There was a perfect environment, happy colleagues-fans. The second game against NOVOBUDOVA ended in 4:3 in our favour. The match was quite challenging, but we won and 3 points were ours. In the game with TERMIK we lost 2:6. It was the last match in the group, late in the evening, fatigue and hot weather came back to haunt.

The tournament ended with the following results: FABU team – 0 points and as a result 6th place, Dyckerhoff scored 6 points, so as NOVOBUDOVA and ETB, and shared with them places from 3 to 5, TERMIK with 12 points became a silver medalist, and AGROMAT 35 scored 15 points and became a champion.

The Dyckerhoff football players won the Cup for The Will to Win and tournament participation certificate.
